Trudie's Winnetka Backgammon Club hosted the 40th edition of the Illinois Challenge Cup on Sunday, March 1st at The Tilted Kilt restaurant in Skokie, Illinois and the results are in!
Congratulations to the 2020 winning team from THE BAR POINT CLUB, consisting of Phil Martorelli, Steve Klesker, Tak Morioka, Larry Goldstein, Rory Pascar, and Herb Roman.

Kudos to the team from the Springfield Club who finished a close second.
The team from our own club, including, Craig Anderson, David Hanold, Larry Morris, Neil Banoff, Jay Robinson and Bill Chibnik were in the hunt to the very end, but finished in a 3-way tie with the clubs from Bloomington and the Pub Club. The Peoria Club played very well put finished last in a strong field.
We're looking forward to our chance for a first place finish in next year's tournament downstate!
