Our Club's COVID-19 Protocol

Our club's venue, The Winnetka Community House, has set down the following requirements for our use of their facilities. As such, in order for our club to go to live play and for you to be eligible, you must adhere to the following rules:
  • We will be limited to a maximum of 16 people in the room assigned to us.  Also note that we will need a minimum of 10 players in order to feasibly hold tournament play.  Please send an email to info@winnetkabackgammon.com by no later than 10am every Wednesday morning to request a slot be held for you and to confirm that we are indeed playing . 
  • All players must have had both doses of the COVID vaccine and have completed to mandatory two week period following your second shot (one for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).
  • All players must wear masks at all times while in the Winnetka Community House.
  • Players may bring their own beverages (no alcohol). The Community House's vending machines are currently shut down.
  • If you bring food for dinner or a snack, it must be eaten away from the playing tables and prior to your first match. A table designated for eating will be provided.
  • Masks can be removed when you eat or drink in our room.
  • In keeping with the Community House's requirements, our room must be cleared by no later than 11:00pm. All match play or side games must be completed by no later than 10:45 p.m.  in order to allow staff to clearing breakdown the room.
